This study explores the impact of training on workers‟ productivity in Nigeria. The study adopts a thematic analysis of secondary data derived primarily from Google scholar. The study reviewed eighty-two pieces of literature on employee training and productivity as well as performance from the year 2015 to 2025. It adopted the human capital theory in its explanation of the variables in the research. The research focused on three dominant themes (adopting thematic analysis of the qualitative data literature) which are What are the types of training designed to improve workers‟ productivity in Nigeria, how has training impacted the problem of inefficiency among workers in Nigeria, and in what ways has training enhanced the skills of workers in Nigeria effectively? The study identified the types of training in Nigeria and found that training promotes efficiency and enhances the skills for efficiency. Relevant recommendations were made to support the need for enhanced training for workers‟ productivity in Nigeria.
